Hi there! Thanks for taking some time to look through all the fun things I had the opportunity to work on. As I was updating my website, I found myself trying to categorize and bucket the types of work I did and the word Tribid kept standing out in my head. I am not sure if my brain was water-logged from all the Vampire Diaries I had been watching… but, I fell in love with that word and am going to stick with it. It’s one of those words that just fits since my skills span a wide range from Graphic Design, Production Design and most recently UX Design. See…Tribid!

Not to detail out my entire resume or portfolio, here are the high-level pieces.

I have been contracting with Tractor Supply Company working on their app and sometimes web when high-level creative has been needed. And because I still love graphic design, I’ve be part-time designing at Polaris working on their creative needs for digital and developed a signage package (concept-execution) that rolled out to dealers nation wide this January.

I was with Amazon’s Last Mile Hub team focusing on Lockers and developing a new app. for delivery drivers for a short time prior to my latest contracting gigs.

I also had the pleasure of designing and creating for Target Corp. here in Minneapolis for 16 years. I was a Senior UX Designer for Web and App. working on Target Circle - including the Bonus loyalty program and external partnerships with Apple & Ulta, RedCard, a little bit of Post Purchase and Registry.

Before UX…I was with the Target in-House agency Brand Design Lab (BDL) team as a Brand Graphic Designer creating, generating, concepting and leading the development of packaging elements, brand style guides & toolkits…if I had to label what I did it would be me creating the Bones and Nervous system, defining all the rules for Target’s owned brands. While working on the BDL Team I created co-branded logos and packaging design for Design Partnerships (Marimeko, Lilly Pulitzer, Oh Joy!, Toms, FEED USA, Nieman Marcus…etc) I worked with packaging engineers to create innovative and creative packaging solutions and managed the workload for team members in Minneapolis and in India. I built/generated/researched business cases for software tools our team needed, met with internal and external partners to acquire them and volunteered to speak/present at the Annual EskoWorld software conference (no small feat for me when you consider that I presented to 400+ industry professionals) about the benefits of their tools to Target’s bottom-line.

Before the BDL and the packaging world, I did a little bit of everything; I versioned out posters, print ads, and was a lead production designer for Target’s annual holiday catalog. I have art directed photo shoots, developed photo & illustration styles and art directed illustrators (in state and overseas).  Lions & Tigers & Bears…oh my!

When I’m not working… I am a wife & mom of 3, and a crazy pup. There’s not a lot of time outside of that but when we do have time we love to travel, grab a cold beer at a comfy bar, go golfing and enjoy the quiet peacefulness of being up north where we can relax and re-energize from the craziness of the city.

Okay… there ya go. There’s so much more, so let’s talk!

Shoot me a message here if the mood strikes!
